A transformative three-day entrepreneurship development workshop was held in Mhasrul, Nashik, organized in collaboration with Phoenix Mahila Multipurpose Charitable Organization and Vidyadeep Foundation. This initiative was part of the GENIE Program, supported by the European Union-India and Trec Step, Trichy.
The training workshop, led by Mr. Satish Shende, focused on providing hands-on digital marketing training to rural women entrepreneurs. The primary objective was to help these women build a robust virtual business presence and leverage opportunities for business growth supported by green climate initiatives. This Maharashtra-wide program, an international project, saw the enthusiastic participation of 30 women. Rahul Pawar, Mangal Shinde, Shubhangi Bairagi, Lakshmi Pawar, Sarika Ahire along with , Swapnil Pagare, Prof. Dr. Deepak Tatpuje, Pratigya Dabhade Project Officer (Barty) and Sunita Pagare Individuals guided the workshop.
Throughout the workshop, participants were trained to promote their businesses on social media and were introduced to various techniques for business growth through information technology platforms. Practical demonstrations and interactive sessions equipped these women with essential digital marketing skills.
The organizers expressed their optimism, believing that the knowledge and skills imparted during the workshop would significantly contribute to the business development and success of the participating women entrepreneurs. This initiative marks a promising step towards empowering rural women and fostering sustainable business growth in their communities.
