A three-day entrepreneurship development training was organized 30th October to 1st November 2023 at Karad under the GENI program of European Union-India and TREKSTEP, Trichy in association with Karad Taluka Krishi Adhikari Office, Vidyadeep Foundation, Mi Nagar Foundation and Nav Hind Charitable Trust. Information about technology facilities for growth and dissemination of the industry at the international level using information technology for women entrepreneurs in rural areas was given in this program.
Taluka Agriculture Officer Dattatray Kharat, Sunil Dutt Takte,Komal Ghodke, Agriculture Officer Abhijit Kirdat, Nitin Sawant, District Resource Person Karad along with Satish Shende, Prof. Dr. Deepak Tatpuje Also M. Experts like K Kurane guided the workshop.
The training workshop was conducted to encourage rural women entrepreneurs by building their virtual business presence and capacity to leverage the business growth benefits of the Green Climate Fund. The Maharashtra statewide program started under this international project started with the participation of 45 women from Karad in this workshop, women have acquired skills in promoting their business on social media as well as various techniques for business growth through IT platforms.
